Babylips Peach Kiss Lip Balm Review

Babylips Peach Kiss Lip Balm Review

This is one of the most wonderful lip balms I've ever tried. It has 8 hr moisture so your lips stay hydrated and plump for a long time and look sleek and natural. It has a light shimmer peachy tint to it, and smells like you just sliced open a fresh peach. Yum! It tastes great too! This is awesome for hangin' by the pool on vacation. Your Perfect Graduation Makeup!

Hey everyone! This is going to be a special blog post for those of you who are graduating whatever grade this year since summer is approaching! I'll show some cute makeup looks and list the info on how to apply them and list some of my favorite accessory stores if you have yet to match up your dress with one. Hope it helps! For those of you who aren't graduating this year, I will post later this week a cute last day look!

Makeup Looks for Graduation

Summer Makeup Ideas with Pictures    Summer Makeup Ideas and Looks    Makeup Looks for Summer

To achieve some of these flawless graduation summery makeup looks, begin with a simple cleansing of your face, using a quick pore-clearing soap. Gently rub oil-free moisturizer into your face and neck, then let dry for about 2 minutes; this allows the moisturizer to soak in and heal any dry patches on your face. After that, begin by priming your face and eyes. If you don't have primer, but want the same effect, there are many websites that have home-made primer that you can make without even having to go out to buy ingredients. After applying the primer, put on a foundation or cc/bb cream to give your face a flawless, dewy look. If you have freckles and want them to show, you can skip this step or just avoid the freckles. Next, dot your imperfections with concealer and blend them in lightly with a finger or brush. After concealer, I usually apply a quick matte setting powder just to help achieve that flawless look and keep the makeup on, but it's up to you. For eyes, pick golden, lavender, or indigo shadows; they bring out the eyes and stay within the summer color range. Use a shadow on the lid and then the crease; feel free to add more if you like. Brush out your eyebrows and fill them in if necessary. Add blush if you like to your cheeks; a flirty pink hue is a good choice. Finally, apply an SPF chapstick then move in with a lipstick. Bright pinks or nude colors work best for a natural look, then lightly cover the lipstick with a clear lip gloss for a beautiful shine. There you go! Feel free to change any steps to your liking.

My Favorite Accessory Stores!

Hope this helped everyone out! Graduation can be difficult, but I'm so pumped to be moving on! Later everyone! :D

A Review: Covergirl NatureLuxe Gloss Balm

Covergirl NatureLuxe Gloss Balm Review:

This is another amazing product for the summer or any
other season! This balm goes on really soft onto your lips and moisturizes while having just the right hint of color. I wouldn't consider it a balm, but I don't believe it is a lipstick either; it's right in the perfect middle. It also has SPF 15, so I know that if the sun is out, I'm set. It's easy to buy and super cheap; this is a really great lip that I personally think everyone should have!

Find it at: ulta.com :D

Your Go-To Beach Beauty Looks!

Man, it sure is hot where we are! Went to the beach this morning for a quick dip in the water and a little bit of tanning. Really, it's nice to get out of the house!

I decided to post a couple tips I think are important when going to the beach and some hairstyles that I think are really cute!

Makeup Tips for the Beach

  • When prepping makeup, I prefer using liquid BB/CC cream with SPF. I think it makes my makeup last much longer.
  • I use powder over the BB/CC cream, but I don't recommend it. It fades away due to gusty sea winds and blurs all over your face.
  • Use a lip balm/gloss with SPF and moisturizer! Your lips can get burnt, and trust me, it's not fun. Moisturizer just keeps them plump and prevents them from flaking.
  • Do your hair really simple- the more complicated it is, the more likely it is to fall out. Maybe a simple ponytail, or pulling back a piece of hair in the front, braiding it, and tying it behind. Remember your hair will get a little wavy due to the salt in the air at the beach, so use it to your advantage!
  • Bring some makeup with you for touch-ups. Things easily fade away at the beach.
  • USE SUNSCREEN! You can use a tanning lotion if you like; I prefer Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect Sunscreen Lotion SPF 8.
  • After the beach, immediately scrub out those pores! Sunblock left on can cause all kinds of blemishes and make your skin extra oily.
Cute Hairstyles for the Beach!

  1. Leave your hair down with a little bit of Moroccan Argan Oil  in it. It gives it a natural shine and leaves it curly. Pin in a simple beach style hair accessory; all done!
  2. Pull your hair back into a sloppy low ponytail, pulling out a couple of pieces of hair and letting them drape across your face. Done!
  3. This one is very easy; you can just braid your hair into a simple side braid. Don't do anything complicated; remember it blows out!

There you have it! Hope you guys liked it; have a happy memorial day! :D

Summer Foundations- Powder or Liquid?

Now that we are transitioning to summer, it's important to switch into light and waterproof summer makeup. With oily skin, powder foundations and setting powder could melt right off after only 2-3 hours! Fortunately there are many liquid foundations that can help.

Still loving powder? Here are some recommendations:

  • Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse: This is a very light foundation with a mousse texture that is easily blendable. It goes on quickly with no streaks and lasts for a very long time! Find it at: walgreens.com

Wanting Liquid? Try these creams:

  • L'Oreal Paris Magic BB Cream: This very light tinted moisturizer provides minimal coverage, but it feels like you have nothing on. It easily blurs imperfections and leaves you with a clean, comfortable feel. You can find it at: ulta.com

  • Olay CC Cream: This product is very light and instantly provides and perfect coverage. It includes SPF to protect from the sun and, when applied, goes on thick enough to perfect any skin blemish or even freckles! If you want perfect skin with sun perfection, give it a shot! Find it at: ulta.com

Hope this helped! Till later! :D

Sunscreen Haul!

Hey everybody! Well, today, I got the Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect SPF 8 Sunblock! So glad to be trying it out. Most likely I will just use it as a lotion because the SPF number is so low, but I think it will work really well since it is supposed to make your skin 'glow' and give it that natural summer coverage.

I really really enjoy this product! The shimmer is a gold carmel shimmer and is not too subtle. It smells delicious, like coconut papaya, and in the sun your skin looks perfectly tanned. Great on face too! The product is a must-have for summer. Pick this up to shine beautifully as you transition into your summer tan. Definitely get this!

Pick it up at Walmart! (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hawaiian-Tropic-Sunscreen-Shimmer-Effect-Lotion-SPF-8-6-oz/20681403).

My May Makeup Must-Haves!

Hey everybody! Wanted to share some of my 'May Makeup Must-haves!' That's a mouthful, right?

1. Coppertone Oil Free Faces Suncreen Lotion SPF 30-  Love this stuff! Product is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. If you have oily skin, this is a need for the summer! It keeps your face protected from those nasty rays and yet keeps away the zits! No shine is also really good for those summer snapshots. You can find it here: CVS (http://www.cvs.com/shop/product-detail/Coppertone-Faces-Sunblock-Lotion-Oil-Free-Spf-30?skuId=173895), and at Target (http://www.target.com/p/coppertone-oil-free-face-sunscreen-lotion-spf-30/-/A-12683779).

2. True Blue Mini Blackberry Purifying Face Mask- Having trouble getting rid of oil and zits during the summer? After every shower, squirt out a little of this blackberry face mask and rub it onto your t-zone, wait 20 minutes, then peel it right off! This stuff really helps clear up those difficult places, and it definitely a must-have for oily skin. You can find it here: Bath and Body Works (http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11754809) and at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/True-Blue-Mini-Blackberry-Purifying/dp/B005ZYWLL2).

3. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer (Fair to Medium or Medium to Dark)- I have yet to try this product but my family does use it and I have read so many good reviews online I just have to post it here! Be aware, you do have to put it on ten days before the date that you want your tan to be visible, but it is a rich carmel like color, which is very pretty on all skin tones! Give it a shot, it's cheap! You can find it here: Ulta (www.ulta.com) and at Walmart (www.walmart.com).

H0pe you enjoy! What are your summer must-haves? Post a comment below! :D

My Summer Facial Regimine

Hey everybody! Well, it's getting to be summertime here in the US, so I've decided to do a quick routine of what I use during the summer to clean my face. Hope it helps!

My Summer Facial Regimine

 Morning:

  1. Get up! Dab skin with Blotting Paper  - this is a must have if you have oily skin. It soaks up all that excess oil and makes a huge difference in zits! You can get a HUGE pack of it at Ulta for like $1! Cheap right?
  2. Scrub face with any cleanser you have- I prefer Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser . This cleanser is cheap and does a good job making sure your face is clean. It also is so gentle that it is good enough for daily use and helps stop those zits!
  3. Finally, finish off a quick wake-up with a little bit of oil-free moisturizer. Oil free is good for even those without oily skin because it helps reduce, once-again, zits! I use Neutrogena Oil Free Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 . Having that extra SPF 15 really helps on your face because you don't want a sunburn right?
  4. At last, finish it off with a quick moisturizing lip balm on your lips so they don't get chapped. EOS Lip Balm in Strawberry Sorbet  is delicious and works wonderfully!

Mid-day:

  1. If you want to keep your makeup on, just dab with blotting paper and you're set! If you want it off, scrub lightly with a cleanser to clear up that skin- you don't want clogged pores!
  2. Feel free to refresh skin with some wipes- I don't have any but I've heard of them!

Night:
  1. Always, always clean your face at night! Use a mild daily facial cleanser- this is your go to during those hot summer months. If you have oily skin, like me, every other day scrub your face with a cleanser that fights acne- one with salicylic acid. If you use it every day, it will irritate your skin! I use Lo'real Go 360 Clean Acne Fighter . It is easy to find at drugstores and even comes with a  little scrublet!
  2. Moisturize once again.
  3. If you need to, dab with blotting paper.
You're set! And make sure to brush teeth. Those are important to beauty too! Comment below on what you do for your summer routine! Thanks guys. :D
